What kind of classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of classes. Check out our class page or class calendar to see what we offer each month!

Do you offer classes on your machines?
Yes! Every machine purchase comes with Free Unlimited New Owners classes! Classes are one-on-one and must be scheduled within 3 months of your purchase. We ask that you take your machine home and play with it first and write down any questions you have before coming to your New Owners class. This way we don't go over anything you already know. Classes usually go about 1.5 to 2 hours.

I purchased my Pfaff/Husqvarna Viking at another dealer. Can you teach me how to use it?
Yes. Rate is $45 per hour with a one hour minimum. Please call to schedule your class so that we have adequate employee coverage on our sales floor. Make sure to tell us your machine brand and model. Bring your owners manual, power cord, food pedal, accessories/feet and of course, your machine.

What is your Class Cancellation Policy?
Classes close 5 days before the start of class.

If you have signed up for a class and are no longer able to make it, please contact us no later than 48 hours before class. No refunds will be given on or after the day of class.

Refunds will be given in form of Store Credit


What brands of machines do you service?
We only service Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff.

We can service older model Singer and White machines but that is based on if your machine needs a new part and if that part is available.

What do I need to bring if I need my Husqvarna Viking/Pfaff in for service?

but make sure you bring in your machine, power cord, foot pedal and a presser foot. If your embroidery machine is causing problems, make sure to bring in your embroidery unit, as well.

I am unable to bring my machine in from my car. Can someone assist me?
Of course! We would be happy to help you! Just come in and let us know that you have a machine in your car and we would be happy to bring in your machine for you!

Return Policy

What is your return policy?

Special orders are final sales and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Purchases from our inventory may be exchanged within 10 business days of the date of purchase either for another item in the store or for store credit. We do not offer refunds.

Machines are final sale except if the machine is physically damaged. We will review this on a case by case basis.

All cut fabrics are final sale but may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if fabric is for a class at My Sewing Shoppe.


What type of fabrics do you carry?

Currently we have a number of 100% cotton fabrics for quilt piecing, quilt backing,  and clothing including Free Spirit Fabrics, Moda, Quilting Treasures and Nortcott. We also carry Rayon Batiks from SewBatik- perfect for clothing.

We also carry a variety of prepackaged quilt batting


Do you offer financing?
Yes! We offer financing through Synchrony Financial. Every month we are given a variety of financing promotions, so please let us know if you would like more information when you come in and look at machines. Monthly payments are paid directly to Synchrony Financial.

If you already have a Synchrony Financial account and card and would like to use that as payment, let us know so that we run your transaction correctly!

What if I already have a Synchrony Account? Can I use it purchase my machine?
Yes! Just let us know that you are already a Synchrony account member! Please bring in your Synchrony credit card so that we can look up your account.


What kind of zippers do you sell?
We sell YKK size 3 zippers in an assortment of colors- perfect for bags and purses!
